This week I had the pleasure of checking out Walmart’s Soundcheck with Mary J. Blige! My daughter and I were dancing to Family Affair and songs from her newest album, called The London Sessions all day long. Critics have called The London Sessions some of Mary J. Blige’s best work since her 2005 album The Breakthrough. During the performance you get up close and personal with Mary J. Blige. Did you know that she is a 9-time GRAMMY award winner?
Mary J. Blige talks about the process of creating the new album in London, collaborating with such UK talent as Sam Smith and Disclosure. The performance is filmed in HD at the historic Capitol Records building in Los Angeles, California, the series contains 3 episodes, which include both exclusive interviews and live performances.
