You are either Canon, or you are the other guys. I have been a Canon user since I was a kid. My parents used a 35mm Film SLR to capture family memories. When I was in college I used a Rebel DSLR and eventually moved into the Canon t2i. Canon is now up to the t5i in that line, and it is one of the best selling DSLRs. You can pick one up at Best Buy!
The Canon t5i can take great photos as well as stunning video. I have made many videos on the Canon tXi series, and they have been professional quality. The t5i has the ability to continuously autofocus, which is very helpful for when you are trying to capture a moving subject. I would love to have this feature for when I’m taking pictures and video of my daughter! She’s constantly on the move, and it’s easy to miss her.
The Canon t5i uses the DIGIC 5 processor, which allows it to take vivid and crystal clear images. The sensor is 18.0-megapixels, which allows you to see all the details in your photos.
Finally last but not least, the t5i offers a 3″ vari-angle touch screen for simplified navigation. The touch screen flips out and allows you to greater flexibility when taking the perfect shot. You can even turn the screen around so that you can take a super high quality selfie! Though I don’t recommend holding the camera with only one hand.

Awesome camera with some great features, I could use more vivid and crystal clear images, I use a old Kodak Easy share camera, not so great. Seeing all these great cameras lately I am going to have to upgrade.
Since great photography is a must, I would love to test this out and compare it to my Nikon!
