Opening Gifts! Great Phone & Unlimited Plans!

Here we are opening gifts on Christmas with the family. As I said in my last post, my mom’s cell phone is on it’s last leg and I wanted to give her a gift that keeps her connected with her family. As you can see, she loved it! I put it in the same box as a picture frame for her granddaughter’s first Christmas picture.

Gift of Connection, #shopMy mom has been helping me out lately and watching the baby for me so I can blog and run errands. During the times that she watches my daughter, it is even more important that she is able to call me if she needs me. That is why I got her a Walmart Family Mobile with the lowest price rate plan. It was the perfect way to get my mom a new phone without having to commit to a service contract and a provider and spending a fortune on a new phone. I got her the phone and 3 months of service as gift that way she can try it out and see if it works for her.

I set up the phone online rather than in the store and I charged the phone so that it was all ready to go when she opened her gift. With the unlimited plan, the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G does everything a smart phone should, email, Facebook, internet, text messaging, and of course, my mom’s favorite, weather! This was my first time playing with a droid phone and I was really impressed by the interface.
