Hi April Golightly readers! My name is Christine Marie and I blog over at xo Christine Marie. I am a kindergarten teacher who loves sharing both classroom appropriate attire – all my teacher readers out there know the difficulty when trying to be appropriate yet stylish – as well as weekend/date night/casual ensembles. Throw in a beauty tip and some nail polish and that’s xo Christine Marie! Did I mention I give prices and locations for each item I mention? Yep, you can run out and purchase it all!

Down to the real reason I am here… to share some clothes!

I have been lusting over anything with an Aztec print this season and this skirt combined 2 things I can’t pass up – Aztec and sequence. The East Coast is finally being blessed with the spring weather we all know and love, which means I can finally break out this skirt I have been staring at in my closet for the past few months. With the warm comes evening walks, outdoor activities and date nights with my honey. The best part of this sequenced beauty? It can so easily be dressed up or down. Here I paired my sequenced Aztec print skirt with a teal sheer blouse and espadrilles to meet my boyfriend for a night of dinner and drinks.

My sister Bobbie told me about Christine Marie’s blog and I immediate fell in love with her style. She is also pretty great to work with. I recently guest posted about sunglasses on her blog. Make sure to check it out!

What do you think of xo Christine Marie’s style?

  1. I love the color of that blouse – and I love clothes with sequins on them too, anything that captures the light and sparkles is a winning piece of clothing in my book!

  2. Love this outfit!! esp. the skirt! I saw some skirts like that at JCPenney’s the other day and I was like oo they almost look like the one she posted! Definitely keeping an eye out for a great Aztec skirt for myself! I also love the simple blouse with it. I usually don’t wear skirts too often bc I have such a hard time matching a top to it, but this works great!

So happy you guys are working together now!
